During his visit, Abdul praised the Academy of Business Leaders for its outstanding work as an approved ACCA tuition provider and said that he “is delighted to be working with the Academy on this really innovative programme".
He also emphasised that ACCA trusts that such a delivery “will offer students a dynamic and accelerated route through to ACCA membership, giving them the vital and much in-demand financial and strategic skills a modern-day employer needs”.
With this type of ACCA qualification, graduates of the programme will obtain the title of certified public accountants just after three years and graduate with two years of invaluable work experience on their hands as well as secure full-time employment. Upon graduating, students will also hold not one, but two qualifications.
After successfully completing the first year, students will be awarded a TQUK Diploma in Professional Accountancy which exempts them from sitting for the ACCA Applied Knowledge and Skills exams. Then, after successfully completing the second year - comprised of the ACCA Strategic Professional-level exams and their Practical Work Experience requirements of 36 months - students will obtain the full ACCA qualification and become chartered certified finance professionals.
